You can apply for a concealed weapon license in person at a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) regional office or an authorized Florida tax collector's office in your area. You have to make an appointment online to submit an application in person. You can also apply by mail. The cost for a Florida resident or an out of state resident is $97.00 total for an initial license and $87.00 for a renewal license. Tax collector offices may charge an additional convenience fee of up to $22.00 for new licenses.
